The decision to enter therapy and choosing whom to work with is an important part of therapy in itself. I invite you to explore my website to find out more about me, and the way I practice. My training over the numerous years, informs the safe, caring and reflective space where art therapy and evidenced based practices are combined.

After the first phone contact with me, the initial appointment will involve sharing about your experiences (or your child or adolescent’s concerns) that has rendered your decision to seek support, the frequency of therapy (it is usually once a week), the approximate duration of therapy and confidentiality. The fee structure will also be discussed.

An Integrative therapy process means that there is not a one size fits all approach to therapy, but rather combining different approaches, such as Mindfulness practices, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Sensorimotor therapy, to find the right type of approach that best suits you.

The experiences that often invite support include (but not inclusive of) are:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Trauma

  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

  • Stress Management

  • Grief and Loss

  • Sexual Abuse, Emotional Abuse, Physical Abuse

  • Coping with Illness

  • Relationship Difficulties

  • Sexually Harming and Concerning Sexual Behaviors (children and youth)

  • Emotional Dysregulation

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to book a consultation.
